Rededication is first of all for those who have already given their life to Christ. Rededication is a twofold process. First, it is for those who have strayed away from living a committed life according to the Word of God, but now want to recommit themselves.  

THE BIBLE SAYS: IN
I John 1:9 ; 
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Secondly, it is for those who desire a closer walk with the Lord. 

THE BIBLE SAYS: IN
James 4:8;
If we draw closer to the Lord, then He will draw closer to us.

Our Father in the name of Jesus,/
your Word says if we confess our sins, /
you are faithful and just to forgive our sins/

Father, I confess my sins/
and I thank you for your forgiveness/ 
and for cleansing me from all unrighteousness. / 
Father, I desire a closer walk with you. /  
I recommit myself to living by your Word. / 
Your Word says if I draw closer to You, / 
You will draw closer to me. / 
I rededicate my spirit, mind, soul, and body to you. / 
I thank You that I'm covered by the Blood of Jesus, / 
which continually cleanses me from all unrighteousness! / 
Thank You Lord God for allowing me/ 
to rededicate my life back to You, / 
in the Name of Jesus./
